Our SMILE Survey for teachers is currently active!

What is the SMILE Study?

If you received an email from us, you are eligible to participate in the Self-regulation and Motivation in Learning Environments (SMILE) Study! Our study focuses on the development of children's self-regulation skills and motivation during elementary school years. We're interested in teachers' perspectives of children's classroom behaviors and experiences. 

What would you do in the study?

  1. An online survey to learn about your student's classroom experiences (40-45 minutes, compensation is $40).

  2. If more than one student in your classroom participates in the SMILE Study, you will receive an additional survey (20-25 minutes, compensation is $20).

Who is eligible?

  • Teachers with a student currently enrolled in the SMILE Study. If your student is enrolled, you will receive an email from regarding survey completion. 

  • Must have internet access and complete survey(s) outside of work hours. 

In appreciation for your time, you will receive a total of $40+ for participating in the SMILE Study!
